In this post, I will review Swagbucks and give you my honest findings and an answer to a question: Is Swagbucks a Scam?

Would you like to earn some money on the side? Will that help with your everyday expenses?

Here is what I’ve found out while researching Swagbucks and their advertised methods of making money on their site.

Swagbucks is a search engine and an online loyalty program.

It is owned by Prodege, a digital services provider. If you use it instead of other search engines you get your reward in form of ‘swag bucks’.

You need to download their search engine toolbar and that’s it.

However, I suggest if you are doing some serious research stick to Google.

But for everyday stuff Swagbucks can be ok.

It is also a site where you can do lots of other things to earn money.

The signing up process is pretty straightforward.

You need to enter your email or there is an option to sign up with Facebook.

Here is the link for a signup and you even get a $5 instant reward: Swagbucks (note: this is not an affiliate link)

When you’ve created your account, you will be asked to fill in your profile details.

Then, you can install the ‘SwagButton’ browser extension to make Swagbucks your default search engine.

This btw is not complicated to do.

Yes, you can. There is a Swagbucks app that you can easily download and start using the site on the go.

Ways to earn money on Swagbucks are many.

It just depends on how much money, but, I’ll go over that a bit later in the post.

1. Do Your Daily To Do List and Complete

Your Daily Goal

If you do your daily to-do list as often as you can or even better every day, you will qualify for various bonuses and that is good in SwagBucks land.

Check what your daily goal is and make sure you meet that goal for that day. Again, the more consistent you are, the more SB you’ll earn.

2. Shop and Earn

You can get cash back or savings on your shopping if you shop via Swagbucks site. Then, you can redeem the earned Swagbucks for gift cards, vouchers or PayPal cash.

Sites that you can shop on via Swagbucks are many. For example Amazon, Wallmart, Macy’s. and others.
